Everyday evidence
Real examples of how DEE-SWAS can affect learning, thinking, communication and daily life.
The first example was written by a child who had experienced behavioural regression at school at age 7 (Year 1) but didn’t yet have an EE-SWAS diagnosis.
The second example was written at age 10-and-a-half (Year 4), around three years after an
EE-SWAS diagnosis.
Processing speed and working memory were significantly affected.
